Terms of Service

IMPORTANT: CLAIMBOT UK IS AN AI-POWERED DOCUMENT AUTOMATION TOOL. WE ARE NOT A LAW FIRM AND DO NOT PROVIDE LEGAL ADVICE.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") cover your use of the website claimbot.uk and the services provided by ClaimBot UK ("we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

1. Our Service

ClaimBot UK provides a software platform that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help you draft emails, letters, and documents for consumer disputes (such as parking ticket appeals or complaints).

We are NOT a law firm, solicitors, or a claims management company. We do not:

  • Provide legal advice or opinions on the merits of your case.
  • Represent you in court or communicating with third parties on your behalf.
  • Guarantee the success of any dispute or appeal.

You are solely responsible for the final content of any document you send.

2. No Legal Advice & AI Disclaimer

2.1 AI Limitations ("Hallucinations")

Our service uses Large Language Models (LLMs) which can make mistakes. The AI may generate content that sounds plausible but is factually incorrect, legally outdated, or irrelevant ("hallucinations").

  • You must verify all facts, dates, legal references, and details in generated documents.
  • You must read every word of the generated document before sending it.

2.2 No Solicitor-Client Relationship

Use of ClaimBot UK does not create a solicitor-client relationship. The information provided by our tool is for general informational and drafting purposes only.

2.3 Professional Advice

If you have a complex legal issue or a claim of significant value, you should consult a qualified solicitor or Citizens Advice.

3. Your Responsibilities

Detailed in this section are your obligations as a user:

  • Accuracy: You are responsible for the truthfulness of the information you input (e.g., parking ticket numbers, dates).
  • Review: You act as the "Human in the Loop". You must review and approve all generated content.
  • Submission: You are responsible for sending the documents to the relevant parties (e.g., parking operator, Ombudsman) and meeting any deadlines. ClaimBot does not submit documents for you.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

4.1 Pricing

Pricing is displayed clearly on our pricing page. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice for future renewals.

4.2 Auto-Renewal & Cancellation

  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time via your account dashboard.
  • Cancellation is simple and online. You do not need to call us to cancel.

4.3 Refunds & Cooling-Off Period

  • 14-Day Cooling-Off: If you are a consumer, you have a statutory right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of signing up and receive a full refund, provided you have not significantly used the service (e.g., generated multiple documents).

5. Limitation of Liability

Please read this section carefully.

5.1 What We Do Not Exclude

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
  • Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by UK law (including your core statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015).

5.2 Cap on Liability

Subject to clause 5.1, our total liability to you for any loss or damage arising in connection with your use of our service (whether in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise) is limited to the total amount of subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

5.3 Excluded Losses

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of profit, business, or revenue.
  • Indirect or consequential loss.
  • Loss or failure of a claim/appeal (e.g., if you still have to pay a parking fine).
  • Errors caused by your failure to verify AI-generated content.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Your Data: You retain ownership of the factual information you input.
  • Generated Content: You are granted a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and submit the documents generated by the tool for your personal disputes.
  • Our IP: The ClaimBot platform, software, code, and design remain our exclusive property.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ClaimBot UK to:

  • Generate fraudulent or misleading documents.
  • Harass or abuse third parties.
  • Resell the service or generated documents as a professional legal service.
  • Reverse engineer our AI prompts or software.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on our dashboard.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by English Law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
